Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) is an empirically-supported training program designed to cultivate the skill of self-compassion. Based on the groundbreaking research of Kristin Neff and the clinical expertise of Christopher Germer, MSC teaches core principles and practices that enable participants to respond to difficult moments in their lives with kindness, care and understanding.
In this unique intensive, each morning begins with a simple mindfulness meditation or breath technique and is followed by an all-levels asana class with Christina Sell to help participants stay grounded physically and emotionally. Afternoons will explore the basic principles and practices of MSC, how they relate to yogic study and practice, and how we can integrate them into our lives and even share them with others.
This Intensive can be taken on it's own, or as a part of Christina's 300-hour Teacher Training. Learn more about training here.
All intensives are hosted at Mount Princeton Hot Springs, just a short walk from the soaking pools. Your tuition includes full access for your entire stay to all pools as well as the Spa and Club. You choose whether you stay onsite at the springs, at an Airbnb in Nathrop or BV, or any other option. We will send you more details upon registering!
